International Oil & Gas Investor Forum 2006

Ms. Michele Ashby, former CEO and Founder of the Denver Gold Group announced today, the formation of her new company, Meetings International Natural Resources Enterprise (MINE, LLC). MINE, LLC is an International professional services organization with 20 year's experience in natural resources and financial industries - specializing in private conferences for institutional investors.

The first project for MINE LLC is the International Oil & Gas Investor Forum 2006, to be held in Aspen, Colorado at the St. Regis resort in Aspen, Colorado, USA on January 15-18, 2006. The Forum presents over 30 international oil and gas companies to institutional fund managers and buy-side analysts from around the world.

The Forum is a private, by-invitation-only investor event designed to provide qualified investors with access to major oil and gas companies and their executives. Special guest keynote speakers are Mr. Boone Pickens, of Mesa Petroleum fame; and Jim Rogers, famous author of investor books. (See back for bios).

Boone Pickens

Texas oilman and entrepreneur Boone Pickens founded Mesa Petroleum Co in 1956. It was one of the largest independent oil and gas companies, in addition to being known for its high profile corporate control contests for Cities Service, Gulf, Phillips, and Unocal.

In 1996, Boone founded a fund management company, BP Capital, and in early 1997, launched BP Capital Commodities Fund. The Commodity Fund began with $37 million and has generated cumulative profits exceeding $1 billion. Boone utilizes his money management team of 18 employees, many of whom are former Mesa co-workers, to manage these funds, as well as several other investment pursuits, including Clean Energy, the largest North American provider of natural gas for transportation fuel and Mesa Water Inc.

Jim Rogers
Author of Hot Commodities, Adventure Capitalist, and Investment Biker.

Jim Rogers was a Wall Street legend long before he wrote his first best seller, Investment Biker. In the 1970's, he made what he describes as "more money than I knew existed in the world," managing the Quantum Fund, earning profiles in such books as The New Money Masters, Market Wizards and Money Masters of Our Time. Since retiring at age 37, he has invested his own funds been a finance professor at Columbia University, hosted television programs on WCBS, FNN, and CNBC, and has written columns for Worth and Men's Journal.
