Greening the Forum
MINE LLC is proud to introduce its Green elements for this year's Modern Energy Investor Forum. As a MINE LLC company value, we have established the Green Mining Industry Initiative which educates, encourages, and supports mining companies to use renewable and sustainable energy options.
MINE LLC "greens" the Forum:
- Recycle bins will be placed throughout meeting area
- Reusable conference bags made from recycled material will be provided to attendees
- Online registration and smaller programs will be offered to reduce paper waste
- One CD copy of all the presentations and corporate documents will be handed out to each attendee, reducing paper materials
- Recycle bins will be provided to collect badges from the conference attendees at the conclusion of the program for reuse at future events
- Sponsor, Expert Speaker, and Guest Speaker presentations will be available online
- Shuttles to and from the airport will be provided to minimize the use of gasoline for transportation
- Wherever possible signage has been printed without a date to make it possible for future reuse

- The Resort is participating in a pilot program to recycle food waste from our kitchens which is used as compost materials
- Guest Room/Residence Eco-Luxury program which offers guest choice to re-use linens and recycle, in return we donate $5 per room night to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation
- In all guest rooms, a pitcher of fresh tap water is placed bedside for turn down service in lieu of bottle water
- The implementation of Ozone technology for all laundry services, which relies upon extremely cold water to clean the Resort's linens, dramatically reducing hot water use and chemicals required
- The Resort provides a free bus pass to every employee and encourages carpooling and biking to work
- The Resort offsets its' energy consumption by the purchase of 10% wind-generated energy
- Energy efficient HVAC system in use
- CFL light bulbs and motion sensors are used where possible
Our intent is to be as energy efficient as possible for the betterment of our attendees, the community, and the world. If you have further ideas/suggestions on how we might do more please contact us at info@minellc.com.
