September 22-24, 2008
Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Due to the overwhelming success of last year's inaugural Alternative Energy Forum 2007, more companies and investors will be participating in the program for 2008, now the Modern Energy Investor Forum. The conference is also moving to a new location in order to accommodate the increase. The 2008 conference will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The Modern Energy Investor Forum includes expert speakers giving educational presentations on the current state of the industry and the marketplace and will showcase corporate presentations from over thirty public and private companies in a variety of sectors including; wind, solar, hydro, biofuels, geothermal, uranium/nuclear, and other clean technologies aimed at institutional investors, fund managers, analysts, and venture capitalists. A group of money managers, bankers, and attorneys will come together in a roundtable to conclude the conference with a discussion of the current political and market environment for Modern Energy.

The Modern Energy Investor Forum 2008 provides delegates the opportunity to meet privately with company CEOs and top management in meetings prearranged by MINE LLC as well as in social settings including cocktail hours, conference dinners, and networking lunches.

The Next Bubble-Alternative Energy?

Here's what Harper's Bazaar says in an article printed in February 08, "the gross market value of all enterprises needed to develop hydroelectric power, geothermal energy, nuclear energy, wind farms, solar power, and hydrogen-powered fuel-cell technology--and the infrastructure to support it--is somewhere between $2 trillion and $4 trillion; assuming the bubble can get started, the hyperinflated fictitious value could add another $12 trillion."
