WELCOME TO THE LATIN AMERICAN MINING CONGRESS
Hello and welcome to the second Latin American Mining Congress. This year's program is packed with delegate information for any level of investor. Attendees will be given a full spectrum of experiences, networking, learning, and meeting with others.
We are honored to present a large variety of government representatives to discuss the nuances of mining in each of their jurisdictions within Latin America. Victor Flores, top analyst for HSBC in New York, will moderate the government dignitaries panel and will also be giving a presentation on current market analysis during the program. If you watch CNBC, then you have seen and heard our Keynote speaker, Mr. Frank Holmes, who manages US Global Investors Inc., one of the top performing fund groups in the US. Mr. Holmes will be sharing his expertise on the commodity cycles at the Keynote luncheon on Thursday. Martin Murenbeeld, DundeeWealth Inc., is considered to be the "Gold Economist Guru" of North America. When top mining executives want to know what gold markets are doing, they talk to Martin. Martin will share his economic forecast with our attendees at the "Gold Breakfast" on Friday morning.
There are twenty-five corporate presentations on the program - all of which are companies with interests in Latin America. Latin America has been recognized as one of the "hottest" areas for mining in this century. The presentations will also be webcast live, and will feature the unique story of how each company is operating in Latin America. Be sure to attend the Green Mining Panel which will present experts in the alternative energy business who will discuss renewable, green options for the mining industry. When the program ends, the networking begins as all attendees are invited to cocktail receptions, and a wonderful group dinner party, sponsored by Haywood Securities Inc.
