"Oil demand has grown to unprecedented levels, and the main Saudi Arabian oilfields grow older every year" Twilight in the Desert: The Coming Saudi Oil Shock and the World Economy. Simmons, Matthew

"Twilight" is the term coined by author Simmons to encapsulate his research of the producing oil fields in Saudi Arabia, which indicates that the reserves there are waning at a time when global demand is increasing. These two primary factors together give cause for new exploration and development of oil and gas deposits globally. And this is exactly what is happening now. Even with the growing demand for new oil production, the time it takes to go from exploration to new production is about 8-10 years. Investors are hungry for new product as well, looking for the next big discovery and trying to be in the right place at the right time. How does one find these types of opportunity?

One way is through investment conferences like this one, the International Oil & Gas Forum 2006. MINE LLC and our sponsors welcome you to the conference and to Aspen, Colorado, USA.
