The Africa Mining Congress is now in its fourth year. The AMC 08 conference was SOLD OUT well in advance of the conference dates, indicating the growing interest for the Congress. The conference is held in beautiful Livingstone, Zambia, near the great Victoria Falls, a popular tourist destination and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Any past attendee can tell you that the value of this conference includes the content of the corporate presentations, networking at the many activities, and our private, one-on-one meetings. There will be 30 mining company presentations on this year's AMC program and 10 additional non-presenting companies who will host a luncheon on the second day of the program. These companies have projects located throughout Africa mining base metals including; copper, gold, zinc, silver, nickel, uranium, iron ore, diamonds and other precious gems.

The program for the Africa Mining Congress is unique in that it includes mine tour visits hosted by the presenting sponsor companies. In 2008 seven mine tours were offered and over 80 delegates attended them. More information about the mine tours will follow soon. Being in such a beautiful location requires time to be set aside to enjoy the surroundings. Saturday morning is reserved for activities including; White Water Rafting, Game Drive, Livingstone Island Tour, Helicopter Flights, Microlighting, Elephant Safari, River Safari, Horseback Riding, Golf, Bungy Jump, Fishing.
