MINE LLC presents the third annual Africa Mining Congress (AMC 2008), expanding the focus this year to include regions throughout Africa. The conference location once again is at Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia, a popular tourist destination and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The appetite for a mining congress of this type is apparent based on the attendance, enthusiasm, and energy of the meetings in February, 2007. Attendees in February praised the venue, presentations, and mine tours that followed the conference. An important element of the Africa Mining Congress 2008 again this year will be the field trips to projects in some of the most exciting areas of the mining world at the current time.

The dates for the Africa Mining Congress 2008 are February 7-9, 2008 (which dovetails the Indaba conference in Cape Town February 4-7). For those who may arrive on Thursday there will be an early registration and meet-and-greet reception followed by dinner. The morning of Friday, February 8, is open for activities including white water rafting, microlite rides, an elephant safari and more. Friday afternoon will feature a half day of company presentations followed by a sunset cruise on the African Queen. Saturday, February 9, is a full day of presentations followed by an authentic African "Boma" dinner in the evening. Sunday, February 10, is departure day for the mining project tours. Guests will return to various locations to catch flights home.

The Sponsor Companies of the Africa Mining Congress 2008 and attendees are pre-qualified and receive personalized invitations to participate in the Congress. The attendees are pre-qualified as fund managers, buy or sell-side analysts from major investment firms, and private money managers. Non-sponsoring mining companies, publishing companies, service companies, and consultants will not be permitted to attend. Only sponsoring investment bankers will be allowed to attend. All respondents to advertisements will be qualified before receiving personal invitations. Media will be by invitation only.
